The Drop In is committed to providing essential assistance for children and young people aged 11 to 19, with an extended reach up to 25 for those with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
At the Drop In, the well-being of young individuals is paramount. Our team of youth workers and counsellors understand that life can sometimes present tough challenges, from dealing with grief and mental health issues, family problems and bullying to worrying and anxiety, our team offer comprehensive support aimed at helping young people move forward.
Our unique project reimagines how the Drop-In can offer help in engaging, dynamic and effective ways, incorporating our vision to support young people to Enquire, Aspire and Inspire.
The Drop-In affects transformation by empowering young people to engage in opportunities:
We utilise arts, culture and sport to underpin our work, enabling young people to improve emotional health and wellbeing.
We provide brief intervention support from experienced and dedicated youth workers.
This will include ongoing 1-1 work as well as short-term or once-only support.
There will be a well-being activity every evening.
We support young people along their personal journey, enabling them to build skills along the curriculum for life.
